I'm afraid I can't help with choice of tyre place, but I replaced my Bridgestone runflats with Eagle F1 A2s a couple of months back and it's a damn good upgrade.
Handling is still great, but it no longer shakes my bones going over small bumps in the road.

Awesome that's what I like to hear! I'd checked an existing thread on here and they seemed highly rated along with Continentals.

Can't wait to get the Runflats off.

£72 is a crazy amount of money to fit 4 tyres!! Ok so the garage aren't making any profit from supplying them, but that's £18/tyre for a 20 minute job. You should be paying more like £10/tyre.

Yeah it is will have to do some further hunting and get prices

If it's a garage that doesn't know you, get them to fit them after agreeing a price for some service work. Just offer £20 cash to fit all four.

I had all the same nonsense when my old man wanted to change his 5 series to non runflats and I spoke to bmw uk myself who confirmed that it doesn't matter the car/wheels are fine with either and with that we eventually got a tyre place to fit them.
