There is also "Big Brother Is Watching" which are remixes of songs. Thats quite good.

And if you can find it there is one called WWIII - Unkle Vs Unkle. Which I've had for ages but haven't actually gotten round to listening to yet.

Yeah they still make music

They do a lot with Ian Brown, a mate of mine is into them ill ask him later

Yeah still around, don't really do a lot of live stuff. Probably expect some stuff when Ian Brown's next album comes out.

OT but..

i so thought this was going to be a 'The MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.' thread.

gutted, haven't thought about that for... well too long...

See Here if you think im mad.

sorry

"big brother is watching you" is a legal 2 cd release of a 3cd radio set done for radio 1 by "UNKLEsounds" (the dj version of UNKLE effectively) called "do androids dream of electro beats"

It was released as promo to a limited set of people and somehow HMV managed to get a copy, reproduce a limited run and release it in store. Not quiet sure how they got away with it, but its a pretty damn cool set :) The origenal promo ones go for a total mint, and the HMV ones still go for a fair amount.

The big brother release is shorter as they couldn't get the licence for all the tracks iirc and lacks somewhat for it :(

Edit music is pretty funkey, and has an amazing remix of some of Vangelist's Bladerunner music, But nothing they have done has topped Psyence Fiction IMHO, the loss of Shadow for never never land was a real tragity, however the UNKLEsounds endevors are really very enjoyable

yea really like the little bit of James Lavelles stuff i have heard, need to buy some actually.

DJ shadow is awesome, Listening to the Private Press now. :)

Edit music for a film is pretty good. I'd recommend some other artists for you but tbh there aren't that many people out there you can relate them too.(Apart from the obvious) Lavelle plays quite a variety of music. The only peson i can think of who is remotely similar is Felix da Houescat. Breaks , Electro & Triphop.

Also give this a listen.

Do Andriods Dream of Electronic Beats

Edit- I'm also thinking i heard they might be releasing a new album. (slight chance i might be thinking of some1 else)
