U051 error message on a Canon Printer Help

Been using printer normally, sudenlly I get this U051 error message on my Canon MP460 Printer. It does this even if the printer is not connected to PC in Photocopier mode.

Googling reports the error code as being something relating to ink levels/cartridges.

Try replacing them.

I refill them!

Never been a problem in the last year and a Half Ive had the printer.

Googling has shown people sometimes still get this message when they have put new carts in!

Try using MPTool

I have done - it says that ink is back to 100% - I restart printer and its back to U051 error - run MPTool and ink is at 0%

This error has completely locked my printer - cant even scan or use Card reader.
