U2311 Query

I'm after a new IPS monitor for photography and seeing as the Hazro monitors are so disappointing and hazro's response is worryingly poor I'm in the market again.

Got my eye on the U2311 as I could effectively buy 2 for almost the same price as the Hazro I had my eye on, however I think I read somewhere that it uses a 6 bit panel, is this really the case?

If the U2311 does infact use a 6 bit screen, what is the likelihood of getting a U2410 for £400inc from Dell small and medium business?

As I suspected, that's disappointing really but probably explains the cost.

Dell Business is about £460, however I've read that a lot of people manage to successfully haggle down, I just wonder if anyone here has any experience of such haggling.

That's the issue, photography is the only reason I'm looking to upgrade monitors right now. I have an Acer which is in my opinion excellent if only a TN so I'd require something that's a big step up to make me want to part with this.

Photoshop is still 8bit as are 99% of programs, investing in a 10bit will future proof I admit but I by the time I can see the benefit of a 10bit screen I imagine I'll want to upgrade to a nice shiny OLED screen anyway
