U2312HM backlight bleed

I've recently received a warranty replacement for my U2312HM from Dell and I'm wondering if this level of backlight bleed (esp. in the lower left hand side) is normal. Is worth calling up Dell for another exchange, because it's seriously annoying when trying to watch films/shows with dark scenes.

Worse than the old one, tbh I'm worried that'll I'll get another unit with the same level of backlight bleed.

What brightness is it set at?

Lower it if it is on the default (which is too high anyway) as it looks fine enough to me.

Yeah, got it set to 25% brightness.

I've put my ThinkPad X220 with the IPS panel up against it, the X220's backlight seems to be more uniform. I guess I'm just getting used to the new panel as the old one was much better in backlight uniformity.
