u2412m colours

I received a second U2412m today having bought my first one a year ago. The cololurs are very different from eachother. The newer model has a warmer tint to it. Is this common? I don't think I can stand it.

it is quite common for monitors to need calibrating, yes

doesn't seem like something calibrating can fix, google shows more people had the same issue, oh well

I got one of these not too long ago, and its colour has been very neutral since it came out of the box. Slight tweaks here and there, but it has been fine for all applications where I have used it. I haven't got two monitors, so for myself I would not notice any difference. On preset modes, there is colour temp at the bottom of the list, you could try changing that to see if you get it fixed?

Someone posted about the issue here, but there was no fix posted for it.
