U2711 help please

use the cables that came with it not old ones
make sure your resolution is set to 2560 x 1440
and that the monitor is being recognised as the dell in the graphics control panel

it should all fire up correctly first time tho
 
cool ive used the cable it came with.
Any suggestions on screen setup? I switched to game mode and thats it.
I play bf3. So do i need to mess around anymore
 
when i look at the menu bottom left there's a dvi symbol on desktop it says 2560x1440.
When i look at it in bf3 it comes up saying 1920x1080.
why???
 
i use mine in normal mode not game mode and turn the brighness and contrast down not at home atm so cant see the actual settings

go into bf3 graphics settings and set it to run at higher res if you can do do..

in normal viweings is all okie now ? it would suggest its in your game settings if so..
