U2713HM - Alternatives

Can anyone recommend an alternative to the Dell U2713HM?

I will sending back my original plus to two replacements Dell have sent for a refund, so I was wondering if anyone can recommend a replacement?

Definitely needs a displayport, primary use is gaming (FPS, MMO's) and secondary is movie's/web surfing

Budget is £500, must come with decent replacement warranty

Haven't seen them in person but heard good things about the Asus PB278Q

That ASUS is pretty much your only real choice... :/

(not that the ASUS is bad! it gets great reviews, Its the selection that sucks)

I have the Asus PB278Q and i'm really happy with it, it seems a well built monitor and the screen is nice and not reflective.

I put it on and was not blown away by it, but when I went back to my 24" 1080p after a weeks worth of use the 24" 1080p just felt horrible.

I find them a bit like using a ssd, they don't make you go wow! but when you have used them for a while going to HDD or 1080p just sucks!.

thanks for the comments, whats the backlight like on the Asus?

As i'm currently on my 3rd U2713HM and they all suffer from yellow bleed

mine does have some back light bleed in the corners but nothing too bad, but it's not yellow. You probably already know that the Asus is PLS not IPS though.
