for a 60Hz IPS panel it's pretty decent. moderately fast response times and pretty low input lag: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2715h.htm

for gaming, you'd certainly find better performance from high refresh rate IPS panels like the Acer XB270HU / XB271HU, Asus ROG Swift PG279Q etc. or fast TN Film models for gaming also an interesting option

I suppose it depends on what type of games you play Marcus?
Fast competitive shooters go for a Gysync/Freesync model..if you're a casual gamer like myself then I personally recommend it,i play Witcher3,Dirt rally,Gta v..amongst others all in 1440p on my 390 with no problems whatsoever,it's a beautiful monitor

play mmos such as elder scrolls online no fps games ,dragon age inquisition and witcher 3 as well as diablo 3
