With a nice case and fans it will be £650. Its just the box.

You could go all the way up to £1000 and change bits out. You could go with a 3800x2, a 7800gt (with a relevant mobo, asus sli-deluxe or something) and OCZ EB.

It all depends what games you want to play with it and at what res. The one I posted should run DoD with everything on high at 1024.

Eliminos where's the motherboard? Monitor? Keyboard? Mouse?
£600 won't get you a decent gaming COMPLETE system, but if you've already got a system so reusing case/psu/monitor/hd, then only need a mobo/cpu/memory/GFX so decent machine for £600 is possible.

i did this jsut for fun so there mite be some mistakes, 2 things i m not sure about , is the PSU good enuff and the case is a bit .... poo ,lol

u mite also need to overclock the opty144 to not bottle neck the gfx card , but u can alsways change it to a 3500 or something

but here you go, even have COD2, SLI board so u can upgrade later if u wish.

I would change that Maxtor to another make- Western Digital or Seagate. Personally would buy a better quality & bigger case, with SLI want more ventilation. Sliced fingers from unrolled edges isn't fun either (blood spurts everywhere you don't notice it for ages so makes a mess and it doesn't seem to stop!) Midi towers are too cramped, ok before adding all data/power/comms cables but after all that a right mess. Larger cases are deeper so you can push them aside and tidy them up.

If possible buy a modular PSU, as can be seen here right mess 'o cables..(different PSU though) Is yours modular?
