I am considering a indoor camera that will be used as a baby monitor.

Come across the Ubiquiti G3 Flex at a reasonable price - does anyone have experience of using this camera?

Other options I am considering are the Ring or Google indoor camera.

I've had one for several years. Decent quality camera for the price, can't fault it too much. Currently have it set up in the living room to monitor the dog when we're out, I have an automation set up to enable it when everyone has left the house via Home Assistant.

Just be aware that the camera wont record or anything while standalone. You will either need a Unifi NVR, or something like Shinobi that can record the camera's rstp stream.

We use these at home - decent app, 2-way audio is clear (just don't talk too loudly, or it distorts) and the night vision is excellent. £56ish from Amazon/eBay, or under £30 delivered via AliExpress

I use the Tapo C200 or C210. They're like 20 quid so cheap enough you can leave them at grand parents etc. I've just bought the new black one for my new nursery and it claims cry detection etc.

Ideal if you're already in TP Link ecosystem
