I've noticed some of the Ubisoft titles that were available on Steam are no longer so... Their store page is still there, but the ability to purchase is gone. Happening in multiple regions too, and it's not just uPlay titles either. Is something big going down?

Ubisoft are in trouble and about to be bought out I read at the weekend. Might have something to do with that.

Ubisoft aren't in trouble last I heard, financial peformance is likely to exceed 15/16 in terms of raw sales. Vivendi have been trying to buy ubisoft for a few years but have been rebuffed multiple times by Ubi board. They've decided to take matters into their own hands and have been building up a stock position to mount a hostile takeover. They are I believe up to 25% currently and once they reach 30% will be required to put in a mandatory offer under French Law so analysts expect a takeover attempt to happen this year.

OP was probably just a momentary glitch.

Hostile takeover trouble not financial trouble. I read its expected in June this year.

Spot on although I believe their stock share to be at 26-7%

I do hope they take over soon as one of two things will happen.

Either they will become a glorious studio again or they will eventually crash and burn.

Edit : also the hard working devs might start to get paid.
