Ubisoft have revealed their big news they was talking about its a new Ghost Recon.

It was last week that Ubisoft Community Developers Aymeric Evennou and Kimi Matsuzaki promised the company was set to make a “big announcement”, and ever since the internet has been a hive of anticipation regarding what it could be.

That announcement has now been made and Ubisoft are set to introduce players across the world to Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – an entirely new game in the ever popular tactical series. Currently in development by Ubisoft France, the team that previously worked on Advanced Warfighter 2, the title is expected to release by the end of 2010. Alongside the announcement is the reveal that Ubisoft will provide an Xbox 360 Multiplayer Beta for anyone that picks up Splinter Cell: Conviction when it releases on April 16th. Good stuff.

For more details regarding the title, you can head over to www.GhostRecon.com
and also this,
Following confusion earlier when the released PR made no mention of Sony’s current console, Kimi Matsuzaki, Senior Community Developer for Ubisoft, has confirmed that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is heading for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

In a tweet she explains, “PS3 version will be the same as 360 version,” before further commenting that both will be released simultaneously; “PS3 version will come out same time as 360, good sir!”

Finally, PC owners will also be able to expect some news soon as she finally reveals “For those wondering: We will tell more about the PC version later”, although we’re unsure whether its release will be after the console versions.

So there you have it Ghost Recon fans, you’ll be able to enjoy the upcoming title across all platforms.

Personally I prefered the Rainbow six games, but its been a while since we had a new ghost recon game.

And also this,
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will feature prototype high-tech weaponry with state-of-art single player and multiplayer modes. Ubisoft promises that this Ghost Reacon title will deliver a fresh gameplay experience for all-time Ghost Recon fans and will attract new enthusiasts as well.

Sounds like it should be rather good. Not really played any Ghost Recon games before, but what I have played i've enjoyed :)

I'm guessing I should give up all hope of a "proper" Ghost Recon game coming out, ie. one set with current technology and gear that's actually in use, rather than all this "eyepiece hud", "xm8", etc rubbish.

Should go back to the original Ghost Recon. Hated Advanced Warfighter, and will probably dislike this for the same reason (Although I recognise I'm in the minority. :()

Hmmm! A new GRAW might be just what i need to sweep the dust of my 360!

This is what I dont get Graw 4 was announced last may, so I can only assume they are bringing two new ghost recon games out because this amazing announcement isn't new if it's not.

All this talk of GRAW has made me put it back on my comp............... AND IT STILL LOOKS AMAZING.

I started playing through Graw again recently and loved it. Feels so much more real to me than a Cod campaign. Much slower progress but so much more rewarding.

Wasn't a huge fan of GRAW2 it was too short.

Did we ever get a GRAW 3? Co-op on GRAW 1 & 1.5 ;) were some of the best times online with people from here

Never got a 3 don't know why it's listed as 4

It's a great time for me too, the trouble is although GRAW to me was a far better online game than any shooter thats followed the lobby system was such arse. I hope they have/are bringing the matchmaking up to COD standards.

hmmm, great - more 'future' soldiers. I'd rather they concentrated on a present day combat simulation, something to succeed where Dragon Rising failed.
