Dont take it personally drunkenmaster moans about everything. The only thing he does like is moaning. Which seems to make him happy. ;)

I have personally liked steam all the time, but I thought there prices were a little high when it was not in £'s. Now they have changed it over I think its great.
 
i remember when steam first came out back in the days of cs 1.6, it was quite buggy and use to be called "steamin pile of ****". lol but now most of the games i buy r thru steam so its improved a lot.

sucks even more that EU people have to pay 14.99 for it when the x-rate dollar/euro is approx 1.36$ to 1 euro

Correct price should be 7.37€ + 21% VAT = 8.90€ !

Steam prices may be expensive for Europeans compared to you uk-ers and especially yanks, but it's still cheaper than retail prices here. Retail prices suck in the NL. 50-55 € for a new modern game in most retailers, 40€ in online retailers. Console games are 10 more...

I have yet to find L4D as cheap in any dutch retailer as I bought it on steam.

should get in touch with some forum members who can send you a game as a gift. I paid 33€ for my COD:WAW instead of 45€ as demanded by steam easy paypal transaction and I get the game for 35% cheaper from the same supplier purely based on which side of the english channel they live on :confused:
 
I know I do, got 2 people willing to buy things in the uk for me as a steam gift :). In fact I should find someone in the USA to do it for me to get even cheaper games.
 
valve/steam are lazy at the best of times with stuff like this. Itll be out today.. sometime. At their discretion. they are well within their right to bring it out at any time during the day, so no point moaning :) They dont have to give sales/offers, and if people just moan about it not suiting them then they probably would stop doing it all together.

If WIC double pack with Soviet assault comes on sale I think I will buy it.

And I reckon Wheelman will be the weekend special as it comes out tomorrow.
 
What other good games have ubisoft done lately that could be on offer this week?

Assasins creed was a good start to the week.
POP should have been called POOP instead. Huge let down considering the other releases in the series. Nice animation though. Its like its been dumbed down, then dumbed down a further 90%.

What could be next?
 
I reckon there will be a series at the weekend or maybe the entire collection.

Next? Hopefully Splinter Cell games! It would be nice if they put the other PoP games on there those I would get again!
