Assasins creed was a good start to the week.
POP should have been called POOP instead. Huge let down considering the other releases in the series. Nice animation though. Its like its been dumbed down, then dumbed down a further 90%.

You can search by publisher on Steam to see their whole catalogue. Not a whole lot of full priced games in there, WIC and Farcry 2 really.
 
This is interesting for another reason though. Valve have done their "We halved the price of Left 4 Dead and got a 3000% sales increase" thing, and it looks like publishers are starting to take note.

Hopefully Ubisoft will be the first of a long line of publishers wanting to test the theory. If they all find it as effective, we might start to see more reasonably priced games on steam on a regular basis, and not just in sales.
 
Looking at the adveert it's 50% off this week so even if they do that to FC2 then that's still £17.50 which is around £17 more than it should be - biggest pile of **** I've played in a good while.

Be around 4-5pm before its updated if yesterday is anything to go by...

Wouldn't suprise me to see Hawx in there this week as well...
 
My guesses are the next 3 games are Far Cry 2, the latest Brothers in Arms and then something like Shaun White, not in that order. Then at the weekend an overall price cut on all games (less than %50). Cant see any new releases like HAWX and WiC Soviet Assault being included in the %50 deal.

I think HAWK could be one as its over priced on the steam site.
 
I think Hawx will be the weekend deal. A sort of 'look how great we are letting you have this brand new game at half price'.
