This is true, but even the most basic of copy protection would stop that. And i very much doubt DRM was developed with those people in mind.

What second hand market that is almost dead anyway with people worrying they are buying a game that is already locked to an account. I cannot think of a single game i have that isn't modded and the thought that i might not be able to use mods soon is one that makes me very angry as i don't have confidence in teh companys making vanilla games as good as they can be.

There is no doubt it will get cracked everything seems too the question is how many legit customers will be shafted until they realise it was stupid and hasn't done anything but lost them money and customers.

Getting fed up with this crap now. Getting made to jump through hoops to play a game i have legitimately purchased is disgusting. Do these idiots not realise that all this DRM crap is most likely the cause of any increased piracy? My gaming pc is not connected to the internet apart from when i first install a game and check for patches/online activation. After that it's disconnected again as i do not play any games online. Just as well i also have a PS3 then.

Anti-piracy measures such as DRM have never worked, all it has done is increasingly inconvenience legitimate customers whilst the pirates have found ways to bypass it all.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if all these anti-piracy measures have pushed more people towards piracy just to avoid the headaches.

I'm heterosexual myself, I was just turning the tables on his turn of phrase. I just thought most forums were past calling bad things "gay" is all.

I'm heterosexual and I like gays!...erm...what I meant was...never mind.

Anyway, DRM has never really bothered me before. I don't mind having limited installs on multiple machines as when I install a game it's usually only on one machine and there to stay.

Ubisoft are taking thing too far though and I'll not be getting any more of there releases on PC unless they dump this web based saving idea.
