I maybe wrong, however I thought Uplay allowed you download full game clients through the service for the games you activated?

I cant see how to do this so assume it is a figment of my imagination.

No it's just a horrible horrible rewards system bolted onto a lot of Ubisoft games now.

Each game has about five Uplay "Actions" that you get points for, you can then redeem these points through the client for bonus costumes etc etc in game. The Actions tend to just be bolted on to story achievements, and the points you get for actions seems to outweigh the cost of rewards when I've used it. But.. if they add additional rewards for a game, you'd have to get another Uplay game to get the points you need for everything. AC:Brotherhood has had this happen. 100 points earnable, 140 points worth of rewards to buy.

All it serves to do is to make you jump through hoops to unlock things through a client external to the game to unlock rewards that should just be unlockable in game...
