Ubuntu 10.04 mail server

I've just finished setting up a vm host with host mail via this link guide

Now i've just tried to get my WM5 phone to sync and it fails.. prob cause it's windows and i've only got squrial mail installed.

Is there a plug in i can use to allow my mail to sync with my phone or do i need to use dovecot as my mail server ?!

I can't help you directly, but I can say that if you post on the HTF forum, Falko will more than likely respond to the question that you ask. I was having the same sort of problem with that guide on Karmic (couldn't get any mail client to connect) and before I gave up on it (server failure), he was answering my questions and trying to help out, so that would definitely be the way to go.
