Ubuntu 10.10 to Xbox 360

Hello,
Just started getting my Linux desktop up and running.
so far it is doing almost everything I want, it's sharing files happily to my netbook however I can't get the 360 to see it and since that's my media player in the lounge it would be helpful.

All the guides I can find are from a good few years and versions ago, plus any link to downloads are now reporting 404.

So here goes: please help me!!

Hi there,

You should look at PlayStation Media Server for streaming to the 360, I use it and it works pretty well(some issues with subtitles!!! :|)

I've downloaded it but my dog that looks confusing, all this playing for years with Windows in various flavours has not helped!
So the simple question where do I start?

it's quite simple once you get it running just point it at the correct dirs
