Hi

I have the latest version of Ubuntu installed with the Unity GUI.

Am i missing something obvious here, in that I can only find something I know the name of? What if i have an app that i forgot the name or just want to browse ALL Games i have installed - is there any way to do this?

Thanks

yeah... by hitting the filter button, next to the search bar, and selecting games there.

was going to say there was no filter button - however its just not displayed until you click on one of the other options first - doh!

many thanks

I'm not too keen on Unity. I've been using Gnome Shell for quite a while now and have grown to really like it although I keep reading about the masses who dislike it. I've also recently installed KDE to give it another whirl as I was never keen on it and it's quite nice now.

Some of it is that inplace upgrades never install without some problems, but i dont like Unity at all. If im going to reinstall fresh anyway to fix the bugs, i'm going to try somethng new. Mint it is i suppose!

You are aware that you don't have to use unity right? The traditional interface is there too?

Personally I love it. I just had to make all the icons in the launcher smaller and I was sorted.
