Ubuntu 13.04 Desktop/Server

Released just yesterday as I downloaded Beta2 of server 13.04, checked their mirror a few hours later and they had released. D'oh. Lucky I downloaded both from work and not on my home connection :D

Building a 13.04 server VM just now as I type. Not expecting personally to notice anything really different at all.

I'm not sure what the differences is just yet.

Can't say I even bothered to look at change logs or the details. All I know is that they spent a lot of time and work reducing OS footprint, mem usage and fine tuning. Which I think, if true, is a superb thing rather than packing in new functionality and features etc.

Up and running with Kubuntu 13.04 here. I tried the new launcher but prefer the old one. Haven't noticed much else really apart from some new apps as I was running KDE 4.10 via the backports previously anyway.

I went back to Linux(Ubuntu 13.04) and was super excited. had a gaming pc for obvious gaming and got an older laptop so i was hoping to have a full time Linux OS running on the laptop. i got it loaded up fine and then it came to the graphics drivers. went round to my mates to play some warcraft, but since the laptop has dual graphics, the ati drivers kept seeing the on board graphics and not the graphics card itself. searched and searched but couldnt find a fix, so i had to put windows back on it. will keep searching though cause i really want linux on this.
