Ubuntu 18.10 - New Default Theme

Looks ok on the webpage but i don't think it looks very nice when you install it.

I just don't get how it got chosen as the new theme as it seems very immature ranging from insipid to over the top lazer orange against bright white that just looks nasty.

At least Ubuntu has desktop icons. In Fedora they have removed the ability to save anything to the desktop.

Supposedly it's a Gnome thing that will come to all distributions eventually.

They might put it back but for now, no desktop icons or saving anything to desktop.
