Has anyone got this working with 8.10? I installed it through synaptic, i try and run it and nothing happens...

Am i missing something?

You need to configure it via 'system -> pref-> Awm manager' then you need to add it to your session to get it back when you restart!

tell this linux noob more kkelly :D

what would the location / command be in the session manager?

I am a total noob also :)!, however i have this running on my laptop. I just configured it on the bit in system preferences, then added 'avant-window-navigator' to my sessions which is also in the system prferences menu!

Hope this helps!

I think you have to remove the bottom taskbar or it goes mental.

find a guide on ubuntuforums.org theres a massive thread for the dock with an install guide too!

Strange compwiz doesnt want to work, it worked ok on 8.04. It says it can find the drivers, i'm using an ATI card by the way
