Hi guys,

I'm LOVING 7.10, but the only thing I can't get working is being able to access my phone from it. I don't need to sync it, just simply access the storage car / phone memory.

Surely this can be done?

Thanks.

I was looking at this earlier, but I left my cable at work. I think that if you can connect your phone via the usb cabble to your PC, you might be able to use Kandy. I cant try it until Mon, but Im hopeful.
If you figure out how to connect a WM6 phone via bluetooth to Kubuntu, let me know as Im getting nowhere on that one..

I've only got a usb cable, no cradle or anything...

I've got a bluetooth dongle SOMEWHERE, it's been lying around for about two years but I can't find the damn thing. If I get anywhere with it i'll update this thread.

The cable should be fine. If you can connect your phone to PC via USB, then I am hoping that Kandy can be frigged to NOT look for a serial interface and look at the USB instead. I don't think it will sync, but Im hoping that I will be able to pick it up as some sort of usb mass storage device...

Well i've got windows mobile 6 on my phone, but the rom i've got has a WM5 storage app.

If I activate it, it views the storage card on the phone as mass storage. I can't access the phone memory, but that's not much of a problem as I can just copy to the storage card to the phone.

Worth a try for people using mobile 6 :)
