Ubuntu boot USB change computer name?

I can alter the two host files, however the changes are lost on reboot, I have created at casper-rw partition and most changes are retained (apart from this one)...

I can understand why these settings are getting lost, however does anyone know how to change the computer name so when the USB boots the changes are retained??
