I reinstalled ubuntu earlier and supposedly formatted the new root partition but when it booted the items from the previous installation were still in the deleted items folder?? Has it done a type of 'quick format'?
Strange thing is that i changed the layout, downsizing the swap and allocating a home partition this time round.
Strange. Not too concerned just intrigued.
