Ubuntu in VMware upgrade

Hi - I'm running Dapper Drake 6.06 64 bit via VMware in Win Xp pro.
Q. How easy is it to upgrade to Edgy Eft 6.10? & how do I do it? A link to some instructions would be fine.
Or would it be easier to remove drake & start again? Not sure how to do that either as I'm a Linux newbie.

Blimey, that was quick

Thanks - I couldn't find that apge, though I was sure I'd seen it before.
Only having given it a quick glance I assumme it will download the relevant upgrade(s) rather than use the ISO CD I have.

No problem. Yes, it will by default download from the online sources. However there is a way to add your ISO/CD as an alternative repository to get files from, at least when using apt to do the upgrade. Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure how that it done.
