thought i'd give Linux another go, as I'm feeling brave, but I'm running into a problem trying to run/install 6.10. I get the options screen and chose Install, and it come up with the progress bar. It then puts my monitor out of sync range and I have to reboot :( This happens when booting from the CD and trying to run it in Virtual Server.

The server edition seems fine (installing in VS as we speak). Gonna download the previous release and see if that is any better.

Help appreciated! :)

are you using a DS3/4 board? if so theres know issues with the IDE

I'm using ATI 3200 board with ATI X1900XT, another system is Nvidia 430 with ATI X300. . Both have garbled gfx with 65 bit, fine one 32bit. Fine with both on 6.06, both 32 & 64bit

32bit flavour. its an NF4 board, PCI-E gfx. Server seems to be installing ok. just the 6.10 build that seems borked so far.
