Ubuntu Start up with Oracle

Ive just installed Oracle on my Ubuntu machine. Now every time i start up my machine it switches up to CLI and continues to load.

Technically it doesn't really affect me however I prefer the loading bar than the CLI even if it is just for a couple of seconds.

Any advice would be great.

Is "splash" still on the list of kernel parameters in the bootloader?

Try reinstaling "usplash".

What version of Oracle did you install. Their documentation recommends checking all sorts of kernel parameters - did you do this?
