Ubuntu themes

In the themes manager there are a few themes which are ok, but not stunning. Could somebody please explain the process of adding more themes to ubuntu?

My desktop manager is Gnome if that helps

Download a theme, open the theme window, drag the folder into the window basically

much prettier ones also come with emerald, which is a part of the 3d fancy stuff that is Beryl.
