Guys i have just installed Ubuntu, after a lot of diggin i have managed to install my USB-serial adapter

[ 3577.928277] pl2303 ttyUSB0: pl2303 converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0
[ 3577.928408] pl2303 1-1:1.0: device disconnected
[ 3601.278296] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4
[ 3601.446416] usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 3601.454231] pl2303 1-1:1.0: pl2303 converter detected
[ 3601.454301] usb 1-1: pl2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0

but i cannot figure out how to listen in on it?

Through my windows box i can open hyper terminal, set port to 115 and get loads of data back...

Any ideas how to do this on this OS?

I have googled for 50 min but getting angry now!

Thanks in advance gents..
