Ubuntu VM Share stopped working

Hi All

Yesterday I setup a share on VirtualBox for Ubuntu. Everything working great.

Today I boot the VM up and its saying 'mounting failed with the error: No such file or directory'.

I have tried to create new shares and everything but getting the same error.

Any ideas?

OK I managed to get it working, unsure how as all I did was what I had been doing.

Everyday is a learning day with Linux it seems!

did you create the virtual drive on a second hard drive?
I had the same error until I realised to needed to mount by backup drive before opening vbox.
