ubuntu wireless help

Hi guys, I have an acer laptop and I am having trouble setting up the wireless. I am using WPA encryption and the eth0 activates ok but I dont know how to put a WPA passkey in.

ok i have the wpa supplicant installed and i can type my network ssid and wpa key in but it doesn't connect please help
