Hi all,

I really want to use Linux but I have found a problem with my Wireless USB adapter! It will not work on Linux, I have tried before and ive done a google search and I tried things that they suggested but still did not work :(

So my questions are:

How can I get a Linksys WUSB54GS V2 working on Ubuntu?

Or does anyone else know of any USB (or PCI) Wireless adapters that work with Ubuntu without any messing around?

That or I will just have to buy a 20m Ethernet cable :(

The Linksys WUSB54G V4 work out of the box fine. I tried the GS but it would not. You could use the ndiswrapper on the GS - linky

I did not try ndiswrapper TBH as I had a both a G and GS. I used the G on the linux and left the GS on a windows box

Dunc
