I have installed Ubuntu via Wubi this evening but having a problem with loading it. When I boot to it this loading screens graphics are messed up. Once it gets to the login screen there are a few artifacts in the form of small straight black lines approximately 1cm across. But I can click about, change desktop environment and login. Once I am logged in the Gnome interface starts but is unresponsive, the same artifacts exist the only option now is to power cycle the system. I assume I need to manually install the graphics drivers installed via command line but is there anything else amiss here? Installation completely with out a problem after a couple of attempts (it got stuck reading file system first time).
Is the correct command "sudo apt-get nvidia-glx?" for installing the latest Nvidia drivers?
Thanks.
