Ubuntu x64 - 6.06 - DVD - How to verify ISO?

I downloaded a 3.2Gb .iso for Ubuntu 6.06 x64 the other night, I was wondering if it is possible to verify it? As I don't want to get to installing it and finding the .iso was corrupt.

Is there anyway for me to check it? maybe an MD5 hash? (I have no experience with verifying .iso images)

Ahhh found it Sorry for the daft post.

Basically the Hash for the DVD version 6.06 x64 is :

ab4832cc9d24093cd0d664936cc4aa27

I used a program called MD5Win32, when installed it installs a command onto the right click menu in explorer, I right clicked on the ISO and clicked hash, it then took a few minutes to analyse the .iso and generated a hash number, I checked it against the hash I found on the ubuntu download site and it matched.

Alternatively, when you boot the CD it gives you the option of verifying the CD among its other options such as install and memtest86+.
