hi all,
I've got an ubuntu 12.4 desktop machine running the latest xrdp from apt-get.
I can remote onto the machine ok and see my session (.xsession = gonme=ubuntu-2d) however I don't seem to have any access rights while connected like this.
For example, if i log onto the machine locally, I can click on the network icon and select 'edit connections' there I can highlight my current wired connection and hit edit to edit the ip address.
If I try to do the same from an xrdp session, the edit button is grayed out. edit:: I do get a small black error, but it goes before I can read it
I've logged in as the same user, however I think there must be a permissions setting somewhere that's preventing me of administering the machine remotely.
any ideas or suggestions?
thanks,
