Oh my gosh!

How to I *easily* disabled the tap on the laptop trackpad in ubuntu... it is killing me.

It did. Was simple really from your link. I tried it before but I don't think I restarted x or didn't "" my variable.

Linux really isn't intuitive... granted it rocks (wine + CSS = win) and it is all freeeeee, but certain things annoying me. Granted 95% of it it all is resolved by editing text files.... but argh.... annoying.
