just wondering whether anyone has experience with these files. Currently when a user tries to print a document, these files are created on the desktop and in the my documents folder. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Had a look at that link earlier, but it didn't really help me rectify the situation, appreciate your help though :)

I've managed to narrow down the cause. Wherever the user opens the MS Word document, thats where the files are created. For example, if the user opens a MS Word document from the desktop, the files are created on the desktop. This only happens if the user opens an existing document. If they create a new MS Word document, save it, close Word, then reopen the document, the files are not created.

Image below displays the files created:

Any ideas?

Hmm, that looks decidedly dodgy! I know MS Office creates temp files while a document is open but that looks like something else is doing something. Have you had a recent virus scan/spyware check?

Ran a virus and spyware scan last night, both came up clear
