UD4 & 32 GB Ram question

Hi fella's

As a intensive user of after effects, I've been thinking about adding more RAM to my system.

I currently have 16gb in my UD4-B3, but I would like to buy 32gb to upgrade. I would be purchasing the 4x8gb of corsair dominator they stock here. I just want to know whether they will fit, owing to the size of the heatsinks....Cheers

Also what operating system are you using.

Which version, as Home Premium can only see upto 16gb, Ultimate & Pro can see a lot more

Thinking I might just upgrade to Professional, my PC is pretty high end. So, with that in mind.. Will 4x sticks of 8GB fit in said mobo?

One thing I meant to ask earlier is what is the full details of the board, ie what chipset P67 or Z68?

I had a look at both and they all support 32gb of RAM max.

What CPU cooler are you using, as the larger coolers tend to block the first ram slot so any ram with large heatsinks will have trouble fitting in.

Thanks RJC, I was using the Corsair H60... but it failed on me so during its RMA I switched to a standard heatsink and fan that came with the i7 CPU and didnt bother to replace, so its all good!!
