Hi,

tonight i'm gonna get components for an i7 set up.

However one final thing that i want to check is the Mobo -

So if you were to buy one of the two above m/b's which would it be, and why?

I understand that due to the CPU cooler im gonna have and the RAM i'd loose(6g viper & promliamatech) the first RAM slot on the UD5 - is this an issue? also would like to attempt to o/c the chip ./

thank you!

I have the UD5 so far all is well, the memory slot one with my TRUE is blocked but this will only become a issue if you require 12gb of RAM, I can't comment on the Asus.

Running a p6t here, no worrys about ram placement with a TRUE, and it has been solid so far, tbh though i havent heard anything bad about either board.

I havent got round to doing any overclocking yet, but i should be having a tweak with it over the next few days.

Overclocking was fairly straight forward, straight to 4ghz, with a little adjustment with voltages.
