Just built my new rig and it's pretty damn nice...

Dominator 1600/6gb
i7 920 D0
UD5

However it doesn't seem to like overclocking. Tried BCLK 180/1.3 vcore and it just don't take it.

Any advice/template settings that I could use without too much fannying around?

I'm using the settings visible in the above post and the above PDF - nothing different.

Bios is F7.

RAM is Dominator 1600mhz (3*2)

I have changed the uncore as per the two guides above...

This is really ******* me off now.

Why and what to? They appear to be default...I wouldn't have thought that would prevent me from doing anything or would it?

Tried those settings surge and the work fine without altering my bclk, set that to 180 and bam reboot cycle ffs :/

mem is: tr3x6g1600c8d

Changed QPIVTT to 1.3 and IHO to 1.2 and it booted fine at 3.2 :)

Not sure if it's stable...will try clock of 180 now.

Thanks for your help with this guys.

Its a shame Easy Tune is a bit rubbish- tweaking QPI/VTT or VCore for stability in Windows is so much easier. As for example using EVGA's Eleet which is great- sadly my experince of that was limited since my EVGA board died after a few days use:mad: Still got a refund:)

Well I'm going for 3.8 now...will set my CPU VCORE to 1.275 and see how it does.

Yeah no trouble Essexraptor.

I'm using the Noctua.

Just ran Prime (large FFTs) and it just locked...that was with 1.31 vcore at 3.6ghz.
