UD5 PCIE's

Any users that can help as some places say the ud5 has 3 pcie 2.0 and others say only 2 2.0.

I know that 2 gfx run at 2x16 and i know that three gfx cards run at 8x8x8 if you use the top blue and the bottom orange do you know if they run 16x16 still or 8x8 :confused:

The last orange slot on the UD5 is 8x physical, you can tell by looking at the back of the PCB, the pin count on the bottom slot only has half as many as the first 2 slots..

I thought when running 3 GPU's it was 16x 8x 8x?

cheers dave nice one so will asume running 2gfx they would resort to 8 x 8 in blue/orange reason is the vapour x are not going to fit both in the blue slots...waiting on fatvoy to confirm but cant see it

Surely if you have one card in a blue slot, and the other in the orange slot, it would be 16x-8x???

what is actully better

SLI at 16 x 16 or tri sli at 8 x 8 x 8?
