UD5H and Corsair Platinum Memory

I am just about to get a Gigabyte UD5H Motherboard which supports 1600Mhz standard, and 2400(OC) would it be worth getting Corsair 2x4 1866Mhz RAM or stick with Corsair 2x4 1600Mhz RAM to go with it? would the 1866Mhz make it easier to overclock ?

Get the faster RAM, you can set up the XMP profile in the BIOS and this will set the RAM speed/timings and voltage correctly.

Then just overclok the CPU to what ever is stable/cool/you are happy with.

What do you mean by correctly you mean down to 1600Mhz like the board should be at? Its been too long since I brought at RAM lol

The board will read a little chip that is on the RAM, it will read the information contained on this and set the board up to run at the manufacturer ratings of the RAM.

Just some values for the motherboard to read and set itself up to, nothing to complicated.
