You can't bring whether Werner would score into this or you wouldn't give anything when hes involved

A red was an overreaction perhaps but he wipes him out. He would have potentially had a pot shot at goal.

How VAR hasn't told the referee to look at that is beyond me.

And Jack Grealish takes a dive, doesn't get a foul and isn't carded. Ref is not having a good game.

I dont think wanting a red there is an overreaction at all. He's absolutely cleaned him out.

I assume VAR didn't get involved because fundamentally the ref saw it and it was just a foul even if it was a complete mess of a decision.

We can’t even get consistency with VAR in our own league so it’s never going to happen cross competition.
