The 26 teams given direct entry to the group stage are joined by the six winners of the play-off ties.
The teams are split into four seeding pots. Pot 1 consists of the holders, the UEFA Europa League winners and the champions of the six highest-ranked nations. Pots 2 to 4 are determined by the club coefficient rankings.

City getting Shakhtar, Chelsea getting Ajax, Spurs getting Bayern and Liverpool getting Napoli so far.

Who'd have thought City and Chelsea would get pretty much the easiest draws possible.

Messi named forward of the year because Origi couldn't attend the presentation.

edit: Whats the odds on City getting Bury from pot 4?

**** off, they get Atalanta as well :o

Might as well play their second string.

Edit: Happy with Napoli, Salzburg and Genk. Minimal travelling and Napoli only managed a single goal against our worst performance last season.

I'll take that.

edit: Looking at the possible draws for each side, I don't think there can be too many complaints from any of the PL sides. Spurs possibly the only side that can feel a little hard done by with 2 tricky away ties from pot 3 and 4.

Very happy with Napoli, Salzburg and Genk. Virtually no travelling at all, all 3 teams have fans which arent particularly violent etc. Good group.

Couple of real killer groups there too.

Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Club Brugge, Galatasaray is pretty nasty
Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Slavia Prague is also pretty nasty

Easy groups for Liverpool and city. Spuds have a pretty tough group but hard to say how good Bayern are these days. Don’t they have Coutinho??

Chelsea is a weird one, not sure how they will fare. On paper looks an easy-ish group but with the squad they have, I think they may struggle to get out.

Group A: PSG, Real Madrid, Club Brugge, Galatasaray
Group B: Bayern, Spurs, Olympiacos, Red Star
Group C: Man City, Shakhtar, Dinamo Zagreb, Atalanta
Group D: Juventus, Atletico, Leverkusen, Lokomotiv Moscow
Group E: Liverpool, Napoli, Salzburg, Genk
Group F: Barcelona, Dortmund, Inter, Slavia Prague
Group G: Zenit, Benfica, Lyon, Leipzig
Group H: Chelsea, Ajax, Valencia, Lille

Nobody following the Europa League draw? Arsenal have drawn the Royal Oak, Dog & Duck and Blac Horse. Utd have got the Railway, Kings Arms and Fox & Hounds.

Good draw for us, minimal travelling and all beatable teams. Might try and get tickets for the Guimarães game.

United draw is pretty gross, Partizan and Astana won’t be fun trips.

Of course we get the team the furthest distance away, sigh.
