Can't see too many neutrals being upset about this, Celtic have been woeful in the previous games and tonight they got what they deserve.

Upset at losing out on the couple of hundred thousand Thistle would've got for Celtic qualifying but worth it for the laughter. I wonder how long it'll take for league reconstruction or Atlantic League to come back in the media? ;)

Wenger again with Cazorla, he's awful playing wide... plays him there again. Ox doing extremely little useful in any game, he starts. Campbell doesn't get a game to prove what he can do, Podolski still not used(admittedly not match fit but only because Wenger has refused to use him yet, one of our best players last year).

Wenger will every time choose a player he likes over trying something new. Cazorla was so useless in the previous games it's basically mean to start him out wide again, it's a job anyone can see he can't do.

He's missed an open goal, okay from a distance but that was a pretty easy chance and actually more than enough space and time to take one touch then shoot, one woeful freekick as well.

EDIT:- that shoulder from Debuchy is also one of the reasons i'm not convinced we should have bought him, he was certainly a little, volatile, for Newcastle.

A Newcastle fan I know described him as a walking red card. I've not seen anything to dispute that as yet.

This is not Sanchez bashing - but the guy cannot play up top. Just then Ox bursting down the wing, Sanchez the only guy in the box and he makes a run outside the box to show for the ball short leaving nobody in there.

This shouldn't be a surprise, he's not a striker and has never been, really.

If he does play up front it has to be in a counter attacking team, so his pace can be used, or it's pointless.

It irks me when people say I'm being mean or hate him, there are just things he's good at and things he isn't good at. I'm worried that Wenger has played him in what, 5 games so far including the emirates cup, and in not one game yet has he played him in realistically his best position. I don't think we've played a single ball in behind for him to run on to.

He's a wide forward or part of a front two, he's not a target man, you don't want him on the ball for long, you want him on the end of a move not trying to create them.

But even so, 5 games in the one game you played him in this actual role you subbed him after 45 minutes because it worked so poorly... so why do it again? Try Campbell there, you could almost try Cazorla there(Ramsey if he wasn't banned). This didn't work previously at all and for a good reason, Podolski, Campbell and Sanogo on the bench who could work... we start the option we basically know won't work. Wenger is a stubborn fool who tends to play his favourites even out of position before playing someone appropriate in their correct position but leaves some of his favourites on the bench, it's been that way for 8-9 years and cost us throughout that whole time.

That looked like the Besiktas player got taken out as he was about to shoot in the box there?

Hard to see if there was any contact on the replay.
