LOL im looking forward to seeing Arsenal get their backdoors smashed in by Bayern, theres no way on gods green earth we will manage to pull back a few goals. BUT stranger things have happened so who knows but i wouldnt even put a £1 on us getting a result at Bayern.

As for Barca??, down 2 goals and i just dont know if they will get 2 goals to level it up and not let AC score. Methinks Barca will be dumped out by Tues night...they havent looked good at all in the past couple of weeks ie losing to Real twice hasnt helped them confidence wise.

Can't wait for the match on Wednesday. I don't give a **** about the final score, I'm looking forward to enjoying many a wheat beer in Munich :D

You off to watch the game in Munich then??. Lucky you:p

Enjoy the beer and the game if you are.

One bit of good news is that Ribery doesnt look likely to play against us, injured his ankle and hasnt recovered fully yet. Also hearing that Schweinsteiger or however the hell you spell his name wont be available either due to suspension. Same with Jerome Boateng as well being suspended...Robben also might not play due to a calf strain.

Only injury concern for Arsenal is Podolski who is being checked over at the moment.

yeah, once the draw was made, the flights were booked :D Could be our last CL match for a while...:o

Good news about their suspensions and injuries but I think we'll need a few more of their players injured to even stand half a chance.

I hope Arsenal have got the lube ready. :p

We won't need it. Honest, guv.

Well to be fair, you never know. Arsenal giving Bayern a stuffing isn't outside the realms of possibility... but it's not very likely. :p

Im going out on a limb here and say Arsenal might win the second leg due to some of the suspensions and injuries that Bayern have at the moment. Robben is another player that may not make the squad from what SSN are reporting.

But i cant see us winning the tie as it is, had we scored at Emirates and lost 3-2 then maybe our chances would be a lot better but sadly Giroud decided to shoot it straight at the GK.

Robben isn't that good, Muller is easily their best wide player currently. He's gangly, he's not particularly fast and looks, ackward, but his movement is out of this world brilliant, he's ALWAYS in the right place, he's always in such a good position that he can get that tap in, or cross to the right player, or play a very simple one two. He is actually technically very good, but its the simple parts he does so so so brilliantly. There is a reason he got the golden boot at the world cup at a young age, he was easily Germany's best player and Germany's only poor game was when he was out(yeah it was Spain but they were noticeably worse, not helped by Ozil disappearing in every big game in his career).

Anyway its Ribery that is almost certain to miss the game after a knock and Robben got through training fine yesterday, Ribery has played more due to Robben's injury but he's been decent when he has played, scoring a couple crucial goals.

Arsenal don't have anything to deal with Bayern's back up team, let alone 90% of their first team.

Wilshire out is a bigger loss than anyone Bayern can lose by a mile, and on top of everything else Gibbs starting would weaken the team significantly up against Muller, they'll be laughing.

Anyway, more important is Wilshire, out for 3 weeks, the 3 weeks that turns into 3 times that for almost every player. 3 weeks is what Arsenal say when its worse than a few days and they generally have no freaking clue whats going on.

Its an ankle issue, Wilshire + ankle = bad. AS per usual it was a case of, fit again after many screw ups with his treatment, play him every game he's available. Wenger's own words "we don't need to rest him as he's not tired yet", showing signs of tiredness means you're ALREADY at a higher risk of injury. You rest players when they AREN'T already tired to prevent injury and ever becoming tired. Wenger ignores this and plays people when fit, till they drop, he's misused every "recovering" player for the past decade, he's utterly inept and keeping players fit.

Considering WIlshire has looked actually tired and less good recently AND has been targeted by several teams with a series of tackles to take out Arsenal's only top player, starting with the City game where just about everyone tried to have a go at his ankle, Wenger should have been resting him for several games, but didn't, should never have played in the Villa game.

So awesome, Wilshere from what i read this morning on SSN is out for 3 weeks at least...injured his ankle against the Spurs last weekend. ****ing brilliant that is, our best player out for 3 weeks...yr in yr out we have the same players getting injured then spending a few weeks on the sidelines :(

Gibbs is back in the squad, same with Diaby from what they were saying this morning. Not sure about Pod as the other day he was having a fitness test done on him.

But whats worse for us is Wilshere being out for 3 weeks...its really unbelievable how easily our players get injured...i swear Wenger must have player made out of glass as one of his buying conditions :/

Barcelona: Valdés, Alves, Piqué, Mascherano, Alba, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Villa, Messi

AC Milan: Abbiati, Abate, Zapata, Mexès, Constant, Flamini, Ambrosini, Montolivo, Niang, Boateng, El Shaarawy

This should be a decent game, Barcelona are going to throw everything at them, can they withstand it? Could they even score?
