Just seen that UEFA have fined City for the fans letting off fireworks. What a complete joke. Don't worry about the racist chants aimed towards our players Platini, fine us 5k for a few fireworks that plenty of clubs let off regularly in Europe.

I have a feeling Napoli are going to make Chelsea really suffer unless they get their act together.

Can't see us running into any problems against Ajax.

As the tie should be all but over I hope to see Pogba get some minutes. I'd go with...

---------------De Gea---------------
Rafael---Smalling---Evans---Evra
Nani--Jones--Cleverley--Pogba--Young
---------------Berbatov---------------

Subs: Amos, Ferdinand, Fabio, Carrick, Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez

I'll take that as a compliment ;)

tbf with that lineup there should be no end of forward runners supporting a lone front man.

Of course on second thoughts with no discipline and intelligence the defence could be there for the taking if Ajax hit us on the break ;)

There's a rumour some notes were misplaced/found that indicated it's Cahill/Terry at the back, with Sturridge up front (from Gazzetta). That was Rory Smith, from The Times.

Someone else said,

No doubt Chelsea are playing a few mind games with the Italians. :D I’ll wait to see the real team sheet this evening.

No, not at all. :)

How are you finding Thursday night, must be a bit horrible to be relegated to Five? :p

Must admit seeing those Europa League patches on the players kit last Thursday was a humiliating sight. I'm still not sure what to make of us in the competition tbh, obviously the games themselves I look forward to albeit last weeks game was pretty disappointing and I doubt Thursday's second leg will be any different but I dont think I'll be bothered whatsoever should we get knocked out at some point. Cant see me being that euphoric if we win the whole thing either

So will it be Cahill/Luiz at the back then?

I actually think Luiz might be good against Cavani (as long as he doesn't foul him too much), if Chelsea can't control him he'll rip them apart.
