Nice to see sturridge start tbh, Firmino has been off it lately, plus sturridge has done well in his brief appearances so may as well give him a run out.

Sturridge is having a shocker as well, wants so much time on the ball and doesn't seem to be aware of what's around him.
That's just his pace, he has always been over rated for us.
Can do something great 5% of the time rest just runs around not doing much in attacking sense or defense.
Said it before our midfield is too similiar. Its okay having work horses but need that special something.
Massive mistake not taking shaqiri for me

Worst performance of the season, slow, unimaginative and sloppy football.
Midfield have been woeful, they've not supported the attack quick enough and haven't got back to help the defence when they should.
Keita and Firmino on for Lallana and Sturridge in the second half, both need to be doing far more with the limited time they're getting.
Edit: Sturridge and Lallana off for Firmino and Gomez and swap to 3 at the back perhaps?
